Representative of Hokkaido Materials
The brown bear is a representative wild animal of Hokkaido. This material is unique in that it has a guard hair, which is hollow but has very low water absorption, and an underfur with strong shrinkage. The guard hairs can be used mainly for dry fly wings, while the underfur can be used as dubbing material. In particular, the golden hairs of the guard hairs have an irreplaceable way of allowing light to penetrate through them, creating a shimmering effect similar to the wings of insects.
This product is a C grade. The gold hairs remain in some places, and there is some loss of hair tips, but the product has some parts suitable for tying.
