This material has both a guard hair like a rabbit and an underfur like a squill. It can be used in a variety of ways, from simply using the underfur as a dubbing material, to wrapping the guard hair around the body of a nymph, where the guard hair will fluff up strongly, making it a dubbing material that often holds air bubbles. Also, since the skin is thinner than rabbit, it can be used as a zonker tape to wrap around streamers to create a fly that will wobble with the slightest movement.
